Who we are

We are a Taekwon-Do and martial arts centre.

What personal data we collect and why we collect it

We collect data on users such as Name, Age, E-mail, Phone Numbers, Address, Date of Birth, Injuries and Medical History, Card Details and Signatures.

We collect this data to produce a membership form where we are able to keep track of members and their payments. Information such as names, DoB, E-mails, address and phone numbers are all for the creation of the membership.

The Name identifies the person training
Date of Birth helps us know what rate to charge someone
Phone Number is for emergency contact or for a last minute cancellation
Address is for emergency situations and also billing
Medical History and Injuries is for instructors so that they know how to safely train the student
Signatures are for confirmation of identity

Information is also collected when accessing our website with a google account, which includes some information listed on your google account such as age, gender, and location. This is for our research and marketing team to identify where users are coming from and how to better promote our website.

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.
